Ariel HFB

Ariel is a double inspected and registered Haflinger. She has been inspected and approved by TWO World Haflinger Federation Registries, the Haflinger Breeders Organization with a score of 77 points Silver rating, and the American Haflinger Registry with a score of 72 points. We have both score cards and registration papers available for those interested. All of our Haflingers were double registered with HBO and AHR until HBO dissolved. We used the HBO inspection system until that time for our breeding horses and records)

Ariel is a five year old mare born 3-23-04. She was inspected as a two year old at 77 points, a silver rating. Ariel is a tall, modern, refined and elegant filly. She has an amazingly long, ground covering stride and is just a sweetie. Ariel has been in professional riding training with us, walk, trot, and canter work and in 2008 has started over fences and Dressage. She is a natural at picking up her leads and does well on trails.

Our plan has been to keep this lovely filly and put her on our competitive show string and later use her as a broodmare, but we will consider selling her to the right home, preferably a show home. I feel she will excel in the Hunter under saddle area, and dressage and should be a lovely mover in harness. Due to our client show horses, Ariel was only shown once in 2006 and placed 2nd under both judges at the Haflinger Classic in New York for two year old in hand trail. She was shown as a weanling and won several halter classes. Ariel was shown in 2007 by a youth rider and competed well in both her under saddle and halter classes.

Ariel was leased by Olivia VanWinkle, a 15 year old for the 2008 show season. They competed in the 2008 Buckeye Haflinger Show with wins in several classes! They were also THREE TIME 2008 American Haflinger Registry National Champions! Youth Intro Dressage Test A, B, AND Training Level Test 1! Ariel was taken to the 2008 East Coast Haflinger Gathering in Gettysburg, PA, and was fabulous out on the trails and battlefield with the other horses and alone. Jacque even rode her with her two year old son, Johnathan, and Ariel gave rides to several other riders who came from out of state without their horses.

Ariel is DNA tested, Microchipped, and up to date on everything. She has no vices and loads, clips, bathes, stands tied, and is very clean in her stall.
