‘Sly’ (Rocky Balboa’s name from the movie 🙂 ) is a two year old gelding born 4-14-07 and is 55 inches tall. Sly is a beautiful dark chestnut red color with a small strip down his face. We purchased Sly at an auction because he was a stallion at the time and had no training, and he is out of our stallion, A Rock. We have since had him gelded and put him into training. When we purchased him, we thought he was three, then we received his papers and saw he was just two. Since we don’t push our two year olds, Sly has been working on foundation training, lunging, going over obstacles etc. He has had the saddle on, and has been ground driven and is doing very well. He likes attention, and is quite comical!
